Location: Orchard District, Town of Bayfield, Bayfield County

Working Land Type: Blueberries, currants, blackberries, strawberries, June berries, gooseberries, vegetables and herbs

 

Conservation Value: Wildlife habitat and scenic open space, providing pedestrian access to Lake Superior for quiet enjoyment.

 

Protection: Purchased Farmland Preservation Easement through Town of Bayfield’s Farmland Preservation Program with funding from NRCS’s Farm and Rangeland Protection Program. The easement is administered and monitored by the Bayfield Regional Conservancy.
