Blue Vista Farm

Size : 38 acres
Location: Orchard District of Town of Bayfield, Bayfield County
Working Land Types: Orchard with organic blueberries, raspberries, eco-apples, fresh cut flowers and everlasting dried flowers.
Protection: Purchased Farmland Preservation Easement through Town of Bayfield’s Farmland Preservation Program with funding from NRCS’s Farm and Rangeland Protection Program. The easement is administered and monitored by the Bayfield Regional Conservancy.
Description: Blue Vista Farm is one of the most scenic spots along Lake Superior. Located high above the lake on a sweeping point, the farm has panoramic views of the Apostle Islands, Michigan's Porcupine Mountains and the head of Chequamegon Bay. Blue Vista Farm has been featured on the cover of Wisconsin Trails Magazine, Lake Superior Calendar, in Bon Appetit magazine and many regional publications. Their turn of the century barn was one of twelve barns to be featured on the National Barns calendar in 2002
